AHA Endorses LexisNexis® Identity and Financial Product Suite

The American Hospital Association (AHA) today announced it has exclusively endorsed LexisNexis® Identity Management Product Suite. AHA Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of the AHA, awards the AHA endorsement to products and services that help member hospitals and health care organizations achieve operational excellence. Following an extensive evaluation of identity management service offerings, LexisNexis Patient Identity and Financial Assessment Product Suite was selected for the exclusive AHA endorsement.

The AHA-endorsed LexisNexis Product Suite includes four solutions: The first two, Instant Verify and Instant Authenticate, support patient identity management with verification and authentication. The Community Benefit Assessment (“CBA”) and RiskView™ for Healthcare Providers helps hospital improve revenue cycle management. These products will enhance hospitals’ ability to manage and protect patient information as well as improve revenues.

As hospitals continue to expand their use of electronic medical records and increase participation in health information exchanges, the LexisNexis’ four-solution suite, which draws on comprehensive databases, verification expertise and financial assessment tools, can help hospitals verify and authenticate patients’ identity, facilitate financial eligibility determinations and reduce identity fraud.
